Our courses are taught by NRA-certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading instructor Jim Finnerty. Jim is based in northern Massachusetts, and travels throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire teaching shooters how to make their own ammo.
Jim has been reloading for almost 30 years, and reloads over 20K rounds per year in about 25 calibers. He is currently the reloading instructor for the Gun Owners Action League of Massachusetts.

Why Our Classes Are Different
We bring the equipment and the class to you, and make sure you know how to do it right.
Until now, if you wanted to learn to reload, your options were limited to learning on your own through trial and error, taking a free class at a gun shop, attending a large 'classroom-only' course without hands-on reloading , or arranging a private lesson at the home of an instructor.
Each of these methods has its drawbacks. Learning on your own can be expensive; and until you learn the laws, regulations, and safety practices, you run the risk of personal liability and injury. A gun shop is trying to sell you equipment, and the 'class' is more of an equipment demonstration than it is a comprehensive learning experience. A large classroom-only course deprives you of the opportunity to 'learn by doing', and private lessons can be expensive and inconvenient.We bring the class and the equipment to you. Our class size is limited to a maximum of 12 students, and we bring up to four complete reloading setups - presses, dies, scales, powder measures, measuring tools, etc.
We cover each step of the reloading process, explain why each step is necessary, and indicate any subtle differences in technique required for various calibers. More importantly, each student will have the opportunity to make functioning ammunition using modern high quality reloading equipment.
Since he is an active reloader in Massachusetts, the instructor will also provide up-to-date local sources for supplies.
